A Happy Beginning Nursery School was founded in 1988 and has ministered to and taught children for more than 30 years.  Our teachers are caring Christian people committed to the education of our students.

 

AHBNS uses Creative Curriculum for Preschool.  Creative Curriculum as defined by “Teaching Strategies LLC.” Features exploration and discovery as a way of learning: enabling children to develop confidence, creativity and critical thinking skills.  Creative Curriculum combines the latest research and best practices while taking into account the needs of every type of learner.  As Christians, we are blessed to include sharing that God loves them.

 

AHBNS is currently licensed through the Florida Department of Children and Families. We also participate in Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK).

 

Our parents have expressed their excitement for their younger children to attend our school and glad we do not have a daycare. Most days our parents can be found gathering on the portico of the church, while their children play.  We have created a place of safety and trust for both the children and the parents. Many families develop friendships that continue on into Elementary School.
